A personal Meratol review (2012 update!)

I’ve been overweight my entire life and have tried dozens of ways to lose weight, everything from diet pills to exercising, but no matter what I tried, none of it work. I suspect the reason behind it is because, simply put, I love food.

Just imagine my dismay when I went to the doctor for my yearly checkup only to be told that I was at high risk for developing diabetes because of my weight. If developed, this meant I would no longer be able to eat the foods I grew up loving and enjoying. I’d also be put at a higher risk of stroke, heart attack, even kidney failure. I refused to let this happen and vowed to lose the weight… I just wasn’t sure how yet.

That’s where Meratol came in. I called my friend upset, only to have her tell me that she had also been trying to get to a healthier weight. She had been trying this new pill and had already lost 15 pounds. Of course, I was very interested. At the same time however, I was also skeptical. I didn’t need a fake ‘miracle pill’, I needed results and I needed them quickly.

But what exactly is Meratol?

My friend offered to give me some of her Meratol, but I wanted to research the product first so I knew I wasn’t doing anything harmful to my body. As I was reading through the ingredients of Meratol, I was surprised to find that they were 100% all natural components.

These ingredients were then combined to create an effective pill that’s been clinically proven to help with weight loss by targeting four main points. The first point is to help control portion size by suppressing your appetite. The second is to boost metabolism speed, which helps the pounds melt away faster. The third is to minimize the amount of food cravings you have so you don’t spend your nights binge eating, and the final targeted point is to cut the number of carbohydrates absorbed by your body.

But how does Meratol work?

I was surprised by how much sense the Meratol pill seemed to make. For example, the main ingredients are prickly pear, brown seaweed extract, cactus extract, and capsicum extract. I already knew a little about prickly pear and cactus extract, and these ingredients together made sense.

Capsicum reduces carb intake

Prickly pear surpresses your appetite

Prickly pear is a pink fruit that grows on cacti and is safe enough to be used as medicine. In fact, when I was in college it was common knowledge that consuming prickly pear helped with hangovers because it would help suppress your appetite and help with the nausea. I had never thought of using it as a weight loss though.

I had heard of cactus extract being used to help eliminate food cravings, which is exactly what it does in Meratol. Rather than chemicals messing with your blood sugar, this natural extract regulates it instead.

Meratol may help you:

- suppress your appetite
- eliminate the food cravings
- blocks unwanted carbs
- boosts your metabolism
- lose weight faster

As for the brown seaweed extract and the capsicum, the seaweed reduces the number of carbohydrates absorbed into your body. This means you can still eat the foods you love, the bad stuff just won’t be absorbed into your body. In fact, the seaweed extract reduces the absorption by as much as 82%! This is then paired with the capsicum extract, which boosts your metabolism. Compared to someone with a slow metabolism, you can burn calories as much as 12 times quicker!

Medical Studies which prove that Meratol works

Just when I thought it couldn’t get any better, I saw that there were several medical studies conducted about the pill. The results are right there for you to see too, not like other weight loss companies who hide all that information.

In every single study, Meratol was found to be effective and the risk of side effect was low. At this point, I was completely sold and graciously accepted a free month supply of the pill from my friend.

Meratol in the News / Media

It was around the two week mark when my friend called me completely excited. She had just seen one of her favorite actress, Lauren Goodger, endorsing Meratol. We were both very excited because she had reportedly lost over 15 lb in only a month. I had lost 7 lb at the two way mark, so I was very excited at the potential to hit 15.

After that, reports of how effective Meratol were began pouring in. There were articles in Fabulous Magazine, Bella Magazine, and many more. It was a very awesome feeling to know that something that was working for me was also helping others.

Where to get Meratol

At the end of the month, I had lost an outstanding 18 lb! I was also now out of Meratol, so, knowing i wanted more, I went to their website to look at the prices.

I was surprised by how great the deals were on the site. For a month supply of Meratol, it costs $54, and two months cost double that. If you purchase three months however, the price drops by 20% at only $128. Purchasing four months gives you the best deal, at only $150. That’s a 30% saving, plus the four month deal comes with free shipping and a free carb blocker to try.

Now that I’ve tried Meratol and know how well it works, I know I’ll definitely be using it for the next four months. At least ordering in bulk saves me money, plus I get a free carb blocker to try. If it works even half as well as the Meratol product does, I’ll definitely be worth it.
